Schedule Subject to Change in 2017...
2017 Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals Will Rock!!
The 25th Annual Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals, sanctioned by CMRC, are shaping up to be the most exciting, highest attended, and fiercely competitive Canadian Pro Motocross Championships in the history of the sport.
The tour will now consist of ten rounds with the latest addition of Ulverton, Quebec to the series schedule. Ulverton, located just south of Drummondville, has hosted motocross nationals since the ‘70s and is one of the more prestigious tracks in Quebec that features rolling hills and sandy loam, which has always been a favourite to the riders and spectators. The last time the series visited Ulverton was in 2001.
The series will also revisit Moto Valley Raceway in Regina, Saskatchewan to conclude the western swing of the series. Moto Valley Raceway has hosted some of Canada’s most thrilling national battles thanks to the numerous elevation changes where riders fly in and out of the valley. Located minutes east of the City of Regina, Moto Valley Raceway hosted CMRC Nationals up until 2008.
The most exciting news for four selected rounds is the addition of live music following the Pro National racing. Bands have yet to be confirmed but expect to see three or more bands playing immediately after the racing concludes with a high profile feature act to wrap up the evening. The venues that will be hosting music are Nanaimo, Regina, Gopher Dunes and Moncton. Nanaimo, Regina and Gopher Dunes will have the Pro National racing take place on Saturday with the music extending through to Saturday night. The Moncton event will remain on Sunday due to the fact it is on a long weekend. We may even throw in some freestyle shows to create an event you won’t want to miss. Stay tuned!
